OREGON PROCESSED VEGETABLE COMMISSION
Beans - Beets - Broccoli - Carrots - Cauliflower - Sweet Corn
OPVC Competitive Grant Program

The Oregon Processed Vegetable Commission (OPVC) supports research on the following vegetable crops: snap beans, beets, broccoli, cauliflower, carrots, and sweet corn. Research is funded based on a per-ton assessment collected on vegetables produced in the state. Every year, the OPVC awards money for research projects aimed at addressing issues relevant to the processed vegetable industry.

Seven commission members made up of producers, processors, and a member of the public will evaluate and select research proposals to fund based on their importance to the industry and the merit of proposed research.

Deadline for 2025-26 proposals to be submitted: January 13, 2025
Proposals will be presented to the OPVC board on Friday January 17, 2025, 12:00 pm. This will be a hybrid meeting of in-person and virtual attendance.
