On March 15, 2022 the OPVC voted to recommend the following assessment rates:
Beans $1.502 Carrots $0.000
Beets $0.000 Cauliflower $0.500
Broccoli $3.828 Sweet Corn $0.100
The proposed assessment rate will enable the commission to fund $40,511 to the OSU Green Bean Breeding and Evaluation Program, $7,395 to the OSU Broccoli Breeding and Evaluation Program and $24,657 to fund an Oregon Green Bean Awareness Campaign. The proposals and proposed budget links are:

A public hearing will be held to receive comments on the Oregon Processed Vegetable Commission’s proposed assessment rates (6:40 pm) for the 2022 crop year and the proposed 2022-2023 fiscal year budget (7:00 pm).
